Roosevelt Golf Course API (American Petroleum Institute)

This annual event brings participants from around the United States to enjoy two days of golf and great networking. Energy Companies as well as companies from all the support services come for golf, great food and the opportunity to talk shop. Roosevelt puts out the welcome mat for this wonderful event.

Myton Daze

Two days of wonderful community fun. A parade, barbeque, talent show, vendors, dancing, car show and horseshoe throwing competition. The entire community brings family and friends to enjoy some old fashioned fun in downtown Myton.

Northern Ute Celebration Pow-Wow

A 4th of July Tradition at the Fort Duchesne Pow-Wow Grounds. Four days of dance and drum competition. There will be lots of food, dancing, give-a-ways and fun. It is open to the public. Grounds are located 7 miles east of Roosevelt. Come enjoy one of the Basins premier events and share in the rich Native Culture.

Uintah Basin Car Show

The newest event in Duchesne County and quickly becoming a popular event. The annual car show is sponsored by our local businesses. Last year there were 100+ fine vehicles viewed at this event and we hope to have just as much or more support this year. Altamont Longhorn Days

This little community has a wonderful line up of activities to celebrate the 24th of July weekend. Monday starts with a Family Night. Continuing through the week there is a 3k walk/run, baby show, and rodeo. Saturday, a parade and a Patriotic Program (with a huge flag raising), there is also a great low cost dinner. Bringing the evening to a close there will be fireworks followed by dancing.

If theres one phrase thats synonymous with local summer-time fun, it
would be Uintah Basin in Celebration (U.B.I.C.). The main celebration really
gets going on Wednesday and Thursday nights at Constitution Park
with local entertainment.

Walleye Classic Starvation Reservoir

This is Utah’s longest running fishing tournament and is held annually in September. Fishing and Giant Giveaway and Family Fun Day followed by a second day of fishing and awards ceremony. The Family Fun Day is held on Saturday only, with events such as a duck race, sand scramble, recipe swap, big fish stories and prizes. Bring your entire family and a picnic. Spend the afternoon relaxing and participating in fun activities. Take time to enjoy all the amenities at Starvation State Park including boating, fishing, swimming, hiking and many more in between activities.

This annual event has become a main attraction before the main trick or treating event for the kids and their parents. We walk along a downtown route where local businesses generously share safe candy and prizes.

Holly Fair

The Holly Fair at the Crossroads Senior and Community Center is an annual event for crafters everywhere. From food items to quilts, wood crafts and jewelry you can find almost anything you want at the Holly Fair.

St. Helen’s Christmas Bazaar

St. Helen’s Catholic Church on East Highway 40. In cooperation with the Holly Fair this is also a wonderful craft and hobby show to delight any crafter.

Veterans Day Event with POPS Concert

Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest is an exciting event filled with beautiful Christmas trees and the Spirit of Christmas. You can come to just look at the wonderfully decorated trees or plan on bidding for one of the meticulously decorated trees (all proceeds support our local charities), either way you will enjoy your time spent at the Enchanted Forest. It is held at The Crossroads Senior and Community Center 50 E. 200 S. Roosevelt.

Roosevelt Zions Bank will be holding their traditional Lights On Tree Lighting Celebration in the Lobby with Legacy Performing Arts performing for the Celebration.
